If you have the chance to stay in Chicago you MUST visit the Willis Tower, or most commonly used “The Sears Tower“.
It is not surprising that it’s one of the most important icons of the city. Standing at 1,450 feet (500 m) and 110 stories (floors) its skydeck welcomes 3 million visitors every year.
Friday evening I went to Hancock Tower with some friends. The aim was to see over the city at night.
I didn’t remember that somebody had told me if you go to the restaurant (instead of the Observatory) you don’t have to pay anything. Therefore we paid $16 each. However it was worth it. Watch yourself:
This is a 94th floor and the lift takes only 40sec!
Before going to the Tower we had been to Chicago Summerdance, but it wasn’t what we had expected. That’s why we went to Hancock.
